Curiosity,
set in motion.

I’m John Clausen. I make apps, music, and things that bring the two a little closer together.

Behind the work

I’m interested in what happens when sound, technology, and art meet. This is a place to collect what comes out of that curiosity.

Read the AudioVector privacy policy

How do I get started on iPhone or iPad?

Open AudioVector and tap Choose Audio. Start with the demo to see a trace, or choose an audio file stored on your device. To visualize supported audio from another app, choose the screen audio option and follow the on-screen capture instructions.

How do I get started on Mac?

Open AudioVector, click Start, and allow the requested capture permission. Play some audio on your Mac to see the trace respond.

Does it work with Apple Music?

Apple Music playback on iPhone and iPad can mute when audio capture starts. AudioVector cannot visualize that protected playback. Try a local audio file, the demo, or audio from another supported source.

How can I share feedback during testing?

If you installed AudioVector through TestFlight, open TestFlight, select AudioVector, and choose Send Beta Feedback. Include your device, audio source, and what happened.
